Jurisprudence

(Rule §123)

Licensees are required to successfully complete a minimum of two (2) hours of Jurisprudence per biennial renewal period.  You have two options to meet this requirement:

1. Online

Two (2) hours of credit will be earned for successful completion of online Jurisprudence Exam.  (A passing grade is 75%.)  The exam is free of charge and consists of 20 questions from the Louisiana Practice Act and Rules.  Taking the Jurisprudence Exam online does not count against the online credit hours allowed for license renewal.  Individuals must have a profile created on our website to access the Online Jurisprudence Exam.
