Updated Website Coming Soon
WE’RE JUST GETTING BETTER
At the Louisiana Physical Therapy Board, we’re dedicated to making things feel better … and that includes our website! We are updating our website to improve your experience. Soon, information will be easier to access, important documents and forms will be clearer and more intuitive, and your workflows will be more streamlined.
Our new and improved website is scheduled to launch at the end of the 2026 licensing renewal period. Given the timeline, we encourage you to work on license application renewals as soon as possible to avoid any interruptions caused by the website launch, which is scheduled for April 22, 2206.
In the meantime, if you are experiencing issues with the current LPTB website, please contact info@laptboard.org.
We appreciate your patience as we continue to work to make the tools you need clearer and more convenient.
THE TOOLS YOU NEED … OPTIMIZED
The updated website for the Louisiana Physical Therapy Board has the same trusted resources you’re familiar with, but now you will have access to a refreshed and more comprehensive navigation, which includes:
- Task-first design: Whether you need to apply for a license or renew your license, you can do so with ease. Whether you’re a licensee, compact privilege holder, an applicant, an employer, or a member of the public, we’ve highlighted the most important features for you to access, right on the homepage.
- Real-time relevance: The new ‘announcements’ feature will highlight what’s urgent or important to you, front and center.
- Streamlined Interface: Core actions are clearer, faster and less cluttered, saving you time and frustration.
WHAT’S NEW?
There are a few new features that we’re excited about, including:
- Compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA Standards
- Action buttons that get you where you need to go with one click
- Modern, fresh design
